Student association AFC Ghent and Gentrepreneur join forces for Pitch Your Future. During this pitching event, we offer the stage to young entrepreneurs with a clear goal: practice, grow and be seen.
Come and tank new inspiration, vote for your favourite pitcher and get to meet likeminded entrepreneurs during the networking reception afterwards.
Eight young pitchers take the stage to present their businesses in just 2 minutes. Based on their pitches, they receive valuable feedback from our entrepreneurial jury:
- Ruslan Podgaetskiy (former student entrepreneur, Davai Dumplings - Datcha)
- Johan Verrue (Ghent University, serial entrepreneur)
- Norah Benmeridja (former researcher entrepreneur, Carotein)
Following the pitches, the jury takes a moment to deliberate. At the same time they audience also gets the chance to vote for their favourite pitch. The pitcher with the highest score receives an entrepreneurial prize.
Timing of the evening:
- 18:45 p.m.: doors open
- 19:30 p.m.: pitches
- 21:00 p.m.: networking reception
- 22:45 p.m.: end
