Gentrepreneur is Ghent's centre of expertise for entrepreneurial students, researchers and youth.

More specifically, the categories of students, researchers and youth include:

• all students and researchers who are affiliated with Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, HOGENT University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Ghent University, KU Leuven - Ghent, LUCA School of Arts and Odisee and who study or research in Ghent;

• young people aged 18 to 25 who are alumni at the higher education institutions as described above or who have a link with Ghent (live there or have a company or branch there).

They are welcome with a business, with an entrepreneurial idea or with an interest in entrepreneurship, for a diverse and extensive range of events, coaching and programmes.

A team of 13 coaches, trainers and staff supports them in Ghent's entrepreneurial hotspot, the Wintercircus.

Gentrepreneur is a collaboration between all Ghent higher education institutions — Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, HOGENT University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Ghent University, KU Leuven - Ghent, LUCA School of Arts and Odisee. 

VLAIO supports Gentrepreneur in the context of the ecosystems in Flemish student cities, "samen sterk voor #jongondernemen".
