The Expedition is a unique startup programme organised by Gentrepreneur and Voka East Flanders. During 4 months, you'll work on your ambitious and scalable business idea and get it ready for launch. In addition, the programme also prepares you for external acceleration and incubation programmes.

Content
The Expedition focuses on validating your idea. We're off to a flying start with an intensive bootcamp weekend to explore and develop your business idea. The weekend is followed by regular coaching sessions, thematic workshops and networking opportunities. The focus is on the further development of your business concept and the preparation to launch your startup. We conclude with a pitching event where you'll get the chance to present your progress. Why participate?
Gentrepreneur and Voka East Flanders' strong partnership provides a solid entrepreneurial base throughout The Expedition. Thanks to additional support from an extensive network of entrepreneurial partners, the programme has access to experts who provide their practical experience during thematical sessions. In addition, they also take part in juries, where they challenge participants with targeted feedback and valuable insights.In short: in a relatively limited time, your entrepreneurial idea will get the boost it needs to start up or scale up.
What's more, you will have the opportunity to expand your entrepreneurial network, not only with like-minded students, researchers and young people, but also with experts, alumni and experienced entrepreneurs. Thanks to intensive coaching, the programme also focuses on your own growth as an entrepreneur and as a team.

The timing of The Expedition 2026 is as follows.
For whom?
(Solo) teams including of which at least 1 team member falls under the Gentrepreneur target group.
Teams can register up to 3 active team members for The Expedition. When you are selected, we expect all active team members to participate in the full programme. At least 1 active team member must be present during each activity (see all activities under “Timing”).
The business idea you're signing up with must be in one of the following stages:
- you have an innovative idea that you want to validate and find out whether it is or could be market-ready;
- you have an existing business and want to explore the greater potential and scale it up.
Practical
.
Teams that are selected pay a registration fee of €150 per active team member for the entire programme. This registration fee includes all activities (weekend, expert advice, mentoring, coaching, sessions). If you have any questions about this, do not hesitate to contact us.
